As the art director for Rock en Seine’s 2015 edition, I was selected to create a poster representing one of the artists for the 2016 festival. This piece was showcased at Rock'Art, an exhibition held within the festival in Paris.

Vision
I chose Jack Garratt—at the time, the artist who inspired me the most and whose music I was listening to at that time. A multi-instrumentalist and perfectionist, he fascinated me both musically and creatively. I went to see him perform at La Maroquinerie in Paris—to immerse myself in his universe and draw deeper inspiration for this project. Then, I had the idea to capture his unique musical identity within a bold and expressive visual.
Creation
Through graphic design exploration, I aimed to capture both his music and his personality. This work is all about a process—of thinking, of creating, and ultimately, of translating his complexity into a visual form. I explored how simple yet intricate graphic lines could reflect the depth of his sound—fluid, structured, and intensely expressive.
